Wireless Social 2009

This year’s Wireless Social 2009 was held at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. From September 22nd to 24th, Superior Communications hosted a strategic gathering of industry professionals with representatives from the leading wireless accessory brands and top wireless retailers. This event allowed both groups to come together for one-on-one meetings, viewings of informative presentations, and discussions regarding future commerce opportunities.
The event kicked off at the Wynn where Superior’s Platinum level guests arrived for check-in and a welcome reception at the beautiful Sunset Terrace overlooking Wynn’s pool area. The following day began with a morning breakfast, followed by individual customer-vendor private meetings. Vendors that held one-on-one meetings, included SanDisk, Motorola, Samsung, BlueAnt, RIM, Aliph (Jawbone®), Plantronics, IQmetrix and PureGear.
These vendors introduced retailers to key information regarding:
- New products
- Forthcoming product launches
- 1st Quarter 2010 marketing and channel specific concepts/ideas
On Wednesday, Superior’s Gold level customers arrived and checked into their complimentary 640 sq. ft. luxury rooms. As evening approached, all customer and vendor representatives gathered at the exclusive Tryst nightclub for an evening of fun. Guests sampled wines and cigars flown in specifically for the event. Music by DJ Carlos Sanchez with live accompaniment by trumpet player, Rico DeLargo, completed the experience.
The third and last day of Wireless Social 2009 began with breakfast, followed by morning vendor presentations and a mini trade show floor where customers were given time to review new vendor products. Plus, drawings and raffles were held with prizes provided by several of our valued sponsors.
The event ended early Thursday evening where all guests were given the opportunity to enjoy a final night in Las Vegas.
